International construction and engineering company with substantial operations in Ireland, the UK Europe and The Middle East is now looking for a SQL DBA at their Dublin Offices.

The SQL DBA will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a number of core SQL databases. The successful applicant will be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. They will also take ownership of multiple test, development and production environments and be responsible for the maintenance of these environments to ensure all databases and servers are performing optimally.

This is a permanent role, and in addition to Base Salary of – €65k-€70k, the role also comes with a good benefits package that includes Healthcare, Pension, and Generous Bonus Scheme

Essential Candidate Requirements

• 3rd Level Qualification in Computer Science, IT or Appropriate equivalent
• Familiarity with/certification in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 – 2016
• T-SQL programming experience (Min. 4+ years)
• Experience of working with SQL Server Integration Service & SQL Server Reporting Services
• SQL MSCE preferable
• Candidates should have a strong working knowledge/understanding of Oracle – Direct experience would be distinct advantage
