Due to a substantial Increase in the scale and scope of our business operations, we are looking for a Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our ever-growing team of talented specialists.
The Cloud Solutions consultant will work with our sales, pre-sales and delivery teams plus senior customer technical leads to scope and deliver solutions.
This role is client facing, providing expert consultancy support to projects across a wide range of industry sectors and will be instrumental in delivering client projects.
This role offers ambitious Consultants or Senior Architects who want to pursue a career in Consultancy a great opportunity to join a well-established IT services company that is a key partner of several international technology leaders, public sector organisations and prominent private sector businesses.
While this role will require some travel to key client sites and meetings, it also offers considerable scope for autonomy and remote working.
What we are looking for – Essential Candidate requirements
Prospective candidates should possess a strong business acumen with an awareness of the current business environment and the challenges it presents to organisations. They should possess a high degree of subject matter expertise in Enterprise IT Architecture, including evaluation, design, and implementation of cloud solutions. Most importantly, they should be comfortable in a customer facing role and have the communications skills necessary to help the company deliver for our clients.
A summary of the essential skills and experience needed for this role is as follows:
* Degree qualified in Computer Science, IT or Similar
* Certification in Computer Architecture – TOGAF, CoBit or appropriate Equivalent
* Cloud Computing Certification – Azure is an essential requirement, but certification in other formats such as AWS, Google Cloud and/or IBM would also be most welcome
* Microsoft Professional Certification – MCSA, MCP or other relevant certification
* Experience in delivering MS 0365 Solutions at Enterprise Level
* Certification/Significant Experience in Cisco Networking Technologies
* Virtual Machines and Networking, preferably with a high degree of expertise in VMware
* PowerShell Scripting
* Significant experience in delivering both Cloud and Hybrid Cloud architecture projects (Automation, Business Management, Orchestration and Automation, Security IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS sourcing models and architectures)
* Strong understanding of IT Strategy (IT Cost reduction/Value realization, Operating Models, Roadmaps)
* Strong knowledge of Cloud Security Protocols
* Project/Program Management Certification
* Experience of close collaboration with DevOps professionals – This should include a strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
