Day Rate: 235 eur

The IT Support Engineer will provide second and third level support to end users based in multiple locations worldwide. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.

Business applications include the Adobe suite of products, Autodesk, Bluebeam, Concur, Cornerstone, CostX, Pervasive @Risk and P6, Salesforce and SharePoint. Technical env/ tools include Azure CodeTwo, Citrix, DashLane, Freshdesk, Kaseya, O365, SharePoint VEEAM VMWARE and we have lot of automation using Azure and Powershell.

The IT Support Engineer should expect to take ownership of operational tickets and projects from start to finish, while also contributing to the day to day running of the IT department.

Duties/Day to Day Tasks

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level desktop, application, mobile platform, network support to end users based in multiple locations worldwide
  • Identify and own Desktop OS and application rollouts to include testing and documentation
  • Monitor network security, endpoint security & endpoint protection setups
  • Review daily checklist first thing in morning
  • Engage in and review compliance requirements
  • Manage network services, print facilities, building security & network devices
  • Play an active role in other IT and business projects such as Document Management System administration and endpoint security config

Skills/Experience Required

  • BSc or certification in a relevant discipline, or necessary industry certifications and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
  • Microsoft Desktop Operating System setup on Windows 10/ 11
  • Systems – at corporate level
  • Application Installs & configs in numerous products (see above list of tech and business tools in use)
  • Operational knowledge of MS Azure/ Office365 and PowerShell scripting
  • Operational knowledge of group policy concepts and methods
  • Operational knowledge of Teams Phone
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
