Level 2 Helpdesk Support Engineers – Dublin City Centre – €275 Per Day

Our client, an agency of the Irish Government, has an urgent requirement for Level 2 Helpdesk Support Engineers with strong experience in MS Windows Server to play a key role in an upcoming project.
Based at our client’s offices in South Dublin, this role is initially for a 12-month period with a possibility of extension. Overall, the role offers very generous daily contract rates, great working conditions and superb scope for career development.
Responsibilities of role
The Level 2 Helpdesk Support Engineers will be responsible for providing Level 2 helpdesk support for a large government department. Where necessary, they will assist in the roll out of new technologies and/or updates to existing systems. They will play a key role in ensuring that the Department maintains a strong and efficient IT Capability.
Essential requirements
* Candidates MUST HAVE between 4-6 year’s experience working with the following technologies:
o Windows Server 2008/2012/2016.
o Microsoft OS products including Windows 10 and MS Office 2010, 2013 and 2016, Office 365
o MS Exchange Server
o Active Directory
o Video Conferencing (for example Polycom)
o Fixed and Mobile Telephony, Mobile Device Management Systems – iPhones & Android
o PC Support
o Virtualisation products (for example VMWare)
o Remote monitoring software (for example SCOM, Nagios, Solar Winds, PRTG)
o Skype for Business
* Previous experience in a large government department
And/or large enterprise setting
* Written and spoken English language skills equivalent to that of a native speaker
* Immediate availability to work in the EU – Candidates that require any kind of Visa sponsorship or work permit cannot be considered for this role
