Our client is a highly regarded International Financial Services and Fund Management Company based in the centre of Dublin. Following a recent merger with another company, our client has grown substantially and is in the process of acquiring a much larger IT Infrastructure. They now have an immediate requirement for a Cloud Infrastructure System Administrator to help with the next stage of this Transformation
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team and we are looking for a strong ‘technical all-rounder’, someone with strong systems administration skills along with some previous experience in network engineering.
As part of a busy team, you will deliver, support and manage network operating systems, physical and virtual server infrastructure, network and backup facilities for the business, as well as monitoring system performance and ensure that systems are operating within required parameters.

Essential Candidate Requirements
* Strong SharePoint Online & OneDrive implementation & administration Skills
* Highly proficient in the implementation, administration and maintenance of Office 365 and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
* Migration Experience – Particularly involving migration of MS Azure and 365
* At least 5 years’ experience working with Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Proxies and Patching including: Cisco 2500 routers, 2950 switches, Sonicwall, Nagios and strong general experience with TCP/IP, WINS,
DNS, DHCP, WAN/LAN, & VLAN’s
* Virtualization Experience – Strong experience with VMware ESX or Hyper-V
* Messaging – Active sync, iPhone, Android, MS Exchange Server
* SAN technologies experience – preferably HP though any experience acceptable
* Have previously been worked in a role that involved building/managing servers both physical and virtual, preferably HP.
* Excellent understanding of TCP/IP network protocol – ip addressing, subnet masking etc.
* Experience with Cisco Meraki Firewalls, Access Points & Switching infrastructure
* Microsoft Active Directory – understanding of group policies etc.
* Data backup technologies Experience e.g., Datto Backup and Replication
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
Highly Desirable:
o Database administration – MS SQL
o Productivity applications – Office, Project, Visio
o Web technologies e.g., IIS
o Security – SSL certificates, TLS
o Platform Monitoring Tools e.g., SolarWinds NPM
o Scripting experience – PowerShell
o Linux: Red Hat, CentOS, PHP, MySQL, Ansible, KVM
