Scrum Master/Project Manager – Dublin – €80-85K PA
Highly regarded Insurance and Financial Services Multinational with significant experience in the Irish Market has an immediate requirement for a combined Scrum Master/Project Manager to manage medium complexity Agile projects.
The Scrum Master/Project Manager will report directly to the company Head of IS, with whom they will work to organise scope, budget, and schedule of projects in line with the expectations of senior company stakeholders. In doing so, they will also work closely with Portfolio and System Architects, Business/Systems Analysts, Technology Specialists, Quality Assurance Leaders and Software Developers.
This is a permanent role and is offered on a Hybrid (2 days per week in Ofice) basis. The role also comes with a significant Benefits Package.

* Salary 80 – 85k
* Health Insurance allowance of 1125eu p.a. payable on top of salary;

Responsibilities of role:
* Understand and manage all aspects of the scrum team deliverables
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies during the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and Agile practices
* Work with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals and deliverables
* Validate the business need, project objectives, project scope and project success criteria; ensure alignment among key project participants
* Secure approval for the project release plan and manage the project from initiation to handover to production
* Use established processes to support the ongoing execution and management of the project
* Liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
* Identify project pre-requisites, dependencies, constraints, risks and critical path and manage these proactively
Essential Candidate Requirements:
* Third Level Degree in Computer Science, IT or appropriate equivalent
* Agile Scrum and Project Management Certification
* 5+ years’ Agile project management experience & delivery
* Great Problem solver – ability to get to the root of a problem and put corrective actions and preventative measures in place
* Proficient user of MS Office tools, in particular MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Powerpoint, Sharepoint
* Good understanding of continuous integration build, release and change management, incident management and production support processes
* Good collaboration skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, from various types of IT Specialists through to Core Business Managers. organisation
Experience of managing multiple parties, including Senior I.S. staff, and 3rd party Vendors
* Strong Stakeholder management skills
* Good knowledge of System Architectures, Software Engineering, and DevOps / Agile practices
* Good general communications skills and a high standard of written English
