Senior Test Manager – €500-550 Per Day
Leading International Medical Technology & Pharma company has an urgent requirement for a Senior Test Manager for their Dublin Operation.
The Senior Test Manager should have a strong track record of leading manual, automation and data migration testing projects and Quality Assurance (QA) Frameworks They should have significant experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Agile/Waterfall methodologies along with along with people, project and stakeholder management skills.
This role is offered on a day rate contract basis for an initial period of 4-5 months, but there is a strong probability of it being extended well beyond this timeframe The role has a 2-3 day per week onsite attendance requirement (3 during establishment phase), which may increase on an occasional basis and/or at key project junctures.
Overall, the role offers ambitious test management professionals the chance to further their experience with contemporary software technologies in a dynamic Pharma/Med Tech environment.

Responsibilities of Role
* Test Planning and Strategy: Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases, including defining entry/exit criteria for testing phases.
* Test Automation: Deciding on when and where automation can improve testing efficiency.
* Team Leadership: manage a diverse testing team, set goals, provide guidance, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
* Project Management: plan, schedule, and monitor testing activities within the broader project framework.
* Quality Assurance (QA) Frameworks: ensuring compliance with QA standards and best practices.
* Risk Management: Identify potential testing risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
* Metrics and Reporting: Ability to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for testing, producing regular reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Communications: Interacting with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to convey testing progress and results effectively.
Essential Candidate Requirements
* Qualifications/Certifications – Degree in Computer Science, IT or other relevant area and some form of testing certification (ISTQB, CSQA etc)
* Testing Expertise – In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies, including manual, automated testing and data migration testing
* Management/Team Leadership experience – Experience in managing teams in the forms of testing outlined above with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing testing processes.
* Highly proficient in use of test management tools, in particular Microsoft Azure DevOps to organize and track testing activities
* Agile experience – Extensive knowledge/experience of UAT processes within an Agile environment, including user story validation, feedback collection, and sign-off criteria
* Waterfall experience – Extensive knowledge/experience of UAT processes within a Waterfall environment including business requirement validation, defect recording, triage and reporting
* Test Alignment – Extensive knowledge/experience of aligning test cases with user requirements through the use of requirements traceability matrix)
* QA – Experience in ensuring compliance with QA standards
